We’ve reached the final BIB of the school year! Please note that due to inclement weather the Diversity Festival originally scheduled for today, June 6, has been canceled. But there are still activities planned before classes wrap up on June 19, including our PTA Social to thank all our volunteers! Read on to learn more about upcoming events.

EVENTS

EARLY DISMISSAL

When: Tuesday, June 10

In observance of Election Day, the district will have a 4-hour day on June 10. Students will be dismissed at 11:58 AM.

PTA SOCIAL

When: Tuesday, June 17, 8 PM

Where: TBA

Join us for a PTA Social to thank our volunteers on June 17 at 8 PM, location TBA. You don't need to volunteer or do anything—just show up and hang out, because we all deserve it!

END-OF-SCHOOL EARLY DISMISSAL

When: Tuesday-Thursday, June 17-19

As the school year winds to a close, the district will have three consecutive 4-hour days. Students will be dismissed at 11:58 AM.

FIFTH GRADE MOVING UP CEREMONY & CLAP OUT

When: Wednesday, June 18, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Please stop by the Lost and Found to pick up anything that belongs to your child! Any unclaimed items on the last day of school will be donated.

‘WAIT UNTIL 8TH’ PLEDGE IS GAINING MOMENTUM AT BOLDEN!

In just the past month, dozens of Bolden families have pledged to wait until the end of 8th grade to give their kids a smartphone (basic phones and smart watches are alternatives). Together, we can create a cultural shift in our community around smartphone adoption. Join the growing movement: Sign the pledge today. LAST CHANCE TO JOIN THE BIKE BUS!

Weather permitting, the Bolden Bike Bus is a go on Friday mornings, starting at 7:20 AM until the end of the school year. The route begins at the corner of Hoffman Street and Kendal Avenue. Each bike bus is made up of students and their designated adult riders (a parent, friend, or neighbor) along with adult volunteers who help shepherd our riders of all ages along the route.
