Guidelines on Visiting Delia Bolden elementary

When visiting our schools, we ask the community to contribute to the overall safety and security of our students and staff by helping in the following ways:

• Visitors must enter the school through the main entrance on Virginia Avenue at any time during the day.

• When buzzing in at the main entrance, you may be asked to announce your name and the purpose for visiting the school to the front office staff.  Please be patient if we ask clarifying questions.

• Please wait outside for a staff member to assist you. Visitors are not permitted in the building at this time.

• If you are deemed essential and permitted in the school, upon admission, all visitors to Bolden are to sign in with the security officer, announce your intention, and wait for direction. Visitor badges are located next to the Visitor Sign-in book.
