The Delia Bolden Teacher Time Raffle is Back!

Would your Bolden student like to be Principal or Assistant Principal for a Day? Or play a game of basketball or field hockey – students v. teachers? Create an original painting or tie dye a t-shirt? Get a manicure? Play a board game with their teacher?

Our AMAZING Delia Bolden Staff have generously donated some very special experiences for our students. The money raised from the raffle sale will go to support all of the events the PTA sponsors that help make Delia Bolden a special place. Like what? Well, like student assemblies, parent Happy Hours, the Welcome Back Ice Cream Social, Trivia Night, Karaoke Night, the new Diversity Fair, 5th Grade specific events, and more!

How does Teacher Time Raffle work?

Every student automatically is entered 1x into each of the Principal, Assistant Principal, and their classroom teacher’s raffle (Note: if their teacher is not part of a raffle, they will be entered into one of the specials’ teachers raffles instead).
Students may purchase additional tickets to enter to win specific experiences with staff members. (Note: students may only win one slot per raffle item.)
Each student may only purchase a maximum of 40 raffle tickets.
Winners will be announced the week of May 13 via email, on the Bolden PTA website, and in the PTA’s Weekly Newsletter.
The experiences are for students only. Sorry, but parents and siblings are not invited.
All arrangements, including food and/or transportation are made between staff members and grownups of the winning students. Staff members will be in contact with the winners of their experience(s) to schedule dates and times.

The Delia Bolden PTA is actively recruiting volunteers to serve on our board next year!

The PTA’s mission is to help strengthen the connection between our wonderful administration and teachers and the student/family community for the benefit of our students’ education and well-being.

To ensure the PTA meets the needs of all of our students, our goal is to have a board that is representative of the full Delia Bolden community. We are making an open call to the community to help us find our next board.

You can nominate yourself if you are interested in serving. Or, if you know someone who you think has great ideas about how we could improve our school community, please nominate them! We’ll reach out to them to discuss interest. Nominations are not binding — and anyone is welcome and encouraged to participate!
